Hello!

We’re Jason and April Roberts and we’re the farmers here at Five Heart Farms. We believe that people should know where their food comes from, and that it shouldn’t be so dang hard to get fresh food from farms close to you. We are passionate about bringing the community together, sharing our farm with others and bringing foods from our family farm to your family table.

We hope that Five Heart Farms is a place where families come to gather and are fed amazing homegrown food. That the people that come here find peace, simplicity and a greater connection to the land and each other. There’s just no place like the farm.

April Roberts

CO-OWNER/CO-FOUNDER/FARMER/MARKETING

Of all the things April thought she would be, a farmer and rancher was never one of them. But to her surprise, she’s found her true self while digging her hands into the soil of Five Heart Farms while planting flowers and vegetables to share with others. April a.k.a “The Glam Farm Wife” grew up in Moore, Oklahoma before heading to college only 40 minutes away in Edmond. While attending the University of Central Oklahoma, she met Jason while attending church with a group of her sorority sisters. He convinced her to move to New Mexico and start farming together. Since moving to New Mexico April has served as a Children’s Director at a local church, finished her degree, and began farming alongside Jason where they are building their business and sharing it with the community. Along with growing flowers, April enjoys homeschooling their children, going for farm runs & any excuse to take the camper out for an adventure.
